This multi-year social science research course provides a much-needed research space for RPS middle and high school students. This multi-year program offers students a chance to learn qualitative and quantitative research techniques, work in laboratory settings and conduct their own research project for presentation in various community forums, fairs, and competitions.

Dates: October 13, November 10, December 1 (2018); January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, and June 8 (2019)

Time: 9:00am - 2:00pm
Location:  MathScience Innovation Center, 2401 Hartman Street, Richmond, VA  23223 and various field trip locations
Transportation: Provided at designated pick-up points
Lunch: Provided
Application: Students in grade 6, 7, 8, and 9 currently enrolled in Richmond Public Schools are eligible to apply. Applications will be distributed to students through their individual schools and turned into the school representative. School reps will submit applications to the MSiC.
