MSiC Campus and field trips to related industry locations. June 19-30 with follow-up opportunities at various related facilities.

Program Overview

High School students, come get your hands and feet wet as you learn the nuts and bolts of farming fish and shellfish. We’ll follow an oyster from spat to half-shell, tilapia from fry to market, and trout from egg to mountain stream. Field trips and guest professionals will help you investigate first-hand the biology, chemistry, and engineering that contribute to a financially successful aquaponics business. Demonstrate your culinary expertise as you learn how to prepare and cook the products of various farming operations. Join us on our trip from tank to table!
