Let's Innovate Student Conference for 9-12 graders
When Will I Ever Use This?

High school students and their teachers are invited to attend this one day conference. Math is a critical skill in many careers including culinary arts, architecture, computer science, engineering, automotive services and more. Explore career connections in STEM fields and see how math plays a vital role in it all, from programming on Earth to flying in outer space! Students will engage in hands-on sessions in STEM topics such as drones in engineering, graph theory, and disease detection, or marine technology and the future. Learn from professionals in STEM fields and find out what it takes to pursue a career in STEM. ALL REGION 1 Highschools are eligible to participate. Interested students must ask their math or science teacher for more information. Cost is $15 per student.
